Love the cute flower shape

A small white bowl that is popular for its soft texture. The charming flower form is impressive. Even the usual menu items look gorgeous. The gentle, rustic earthiness that peeks out here and there, and the flow and pooling of the glaze create a very deep atmosphere.

One more side dish

It's a convenient size for one soup and three side dishes, or one more nutritionally balanced dish, and is perfect for Japanese side dishes such as kinpira and dipping sauce. How about adding some nuts as a snack or using it in your morning yogurt? The bean bowls can be enjoyed for a variety of purposes, and their small cuteness makes you want to collect them.

Kiln's recommendation Maintenance ・Kowahiki is water-absorbent and tends to leave stains, so we recommend sealing it before use. Most water stains disappear when dry, but if used without sealing, oil stains and stains from dark colors such as soy sauce and coffee tend to remain.
・When serving oily foods, soak them in water before use to prevent stains.
・After using the utensils, wash them as soon as possible and dry them thoroughly. Insufficient drying may cause mold and odors.

・As you use it, it may become colored or darken over time. We hope you enjoy the change over time as a flavor.
・Penetration (cracks in the surface glaze) may occur during the use process, but this is not a crack or damage and does not affect use.
・Prices may be reviewed or revised depending on the artist or pottery.

Special ``Kohiki whiteware''
We work every day to create ``powdered white utensils'' that complement any dish, add elegance, and provide warmth. We are also particular about the soil we use, and use our own unique soil for potter's wheel and tatara molding. The material is molded from red clay, coated with white mud, glazed and fired. To make it comfortable to use and microwave safe, it is not coated with any chemicals or liquid ceramics after firing. Instead, by repeating the firing process called ``honyaki'' twice, the product is made more durable and of a quality that can be used safely in daily life. Thoughts on items "The most important time in daily life" It's a time when families gather together to eat dinner and relax while drinking tea or coffee. In order to make that time more fulfilling, we strive to create pottery that can be closely connected to people's lives. “Powdered White” is a white with a gentle expression. It's a simple white that complements any dish and can be used every day. In addition, the gentle, rustic earthiness that appears beneath the surface of the pottery gives it a great depth of depth. We would be most happy if you could use and enjoy the warmth of our Japanese tableware in your daily life.

What you need to know before purchasing

-The appearance of items is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced items.
-The charm of handmade items lies in the fact that no two items are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another.
