Kiln manufacturer's recommended maintenance ・Kowahiki is water-absorbent and tends to leave stains, so we recommend sealing it before use. Most water stains disappear when dry, but if used without sealing, oil stains and stains from dark colors such as soy sauce and coffee tend to remain.
・After using the utensils, wash them as soon as possible and dry them thoroughly. Insufficient drying may cause mold and odors.
- For stains such as tea stains, please use commercially available bleach and rinse thoroughly.

About the style and atmosphere

This bowl has a natural feel and is perfect for everyday use, and is easy to match with other pottery. The gentle and gentle colors bring out the delicious color of the ingredients. Because kohiki is water-absorbent and tends to leave stains, we recommend that you seal it before use. Most water stains disappear when dry, but if used without sealing, oil stains and stains from dark colors such as soy sauce and coffee tend to remain. One of the charms of kohiki is that they tend to change with daily use. Please enjoy the expressions at that time and make it your own. Some cracks are included, but this is one of the characteristics of earthenware. Also, some have lines like the one in the photo. Differences in color, uneven color, and sagging that occur by chance during firing and hand-molding are the unique charms of handmade products.
