Handmade pottery is charming in that it is not perfectly uniform, with pinholes, crazing, or distortions. Each piece is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two pieces are exactly alike. These are also the unique characteristics of handmade pottery, so enjoy each unique encounter. [Individual Differences] Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in shape, size, thickness, etc. [Color Variations/Firing Variations] Since each piece is carefully hand-painted, slight variations in the design and color shading may be present. Arita ware

Arita ware is porcelain produced in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. It is said to be the first porcelain produced in Japan, and has been widely enjoyed as tableware and crafts for over 400 years. While Arita ware is often associated with its translucent white porcelain and painted designs, there are also many dishes made with vibrant glazes, adding a rich variety of color to your dining table.
