Kutani ware adds a touch of color

This small bowl features an adorable, tasteful design. The pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms are beautifully hand-painted with a gentle touch. The meticulous handwork shows the artisan's dedication. The raised pattern and uneven texture create a pleasant feel. This dish creates a restaurant-like atmosphere even when serving simple dishes.

For everyday meals and celebrations

Serve a single side dish, such as deep-fried tofu or simmered pumpkin. Its deep, satisfying dish is also perfect for dishes topped with a sweet bean paste. Japanese sweets like tokoroten and anmitsu are also great. The gorgeous design makes this a great choice for New Year's and other celebrations.

Things to Know Before Purchasing

The unique character of each piece of pottery is created by mottling, fading, uneven glaze, shading, and shape variations not found in mass-produced items. Handmade pottery is not perfectly uniform, with pinholes, crazing, or distortions. Each piece is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two pieces are exactly alike. This is the charm of handmade pottery. These are also the unique characteristics of handmade pottery, so enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter. [Individual Differences] Since each piece is hand-painted by a skilled artisan, there may be slight variations in the shading of the pattern. [Color Variations/Firing Variations] Since the glaze is carefully applied by hand, the glaze may not be evenly applied, resulting in uneven coloring. During firing, temperatures vary depending on the firing area of the kiln, resulting in uneven firing. [Other Notes] 〇Since the painting is done by hand, some pieces may exhibit line irregularities, bleeding, or rubbing.
〇Glaze chips may be present.
〇Products that have passed inspection by the pottery manufacturer and artist are inspected again before being delivered to customers.
