Tasteful Tableware

This blue-and-white rice bowl was supervised by ceramic artist Shingo Oka. This free-spirited and dynamic design recreates the blue-and-white porcelain of "Early Imari," an early style of Arita ware. The slightly muted blue tones and fine iron speckles are also reminiscent of Early Imari. Each piece is unique, with variations in line shading and subtle smearing. Enjoy the texture that only hand-drawn art can offer.

Because it's something you'll use every day

Place a generous portion of mentaiko on top of fluffy, steaming hot rice. The slightly larger size is sure to satisfy even men and hearty eaters. The deeper shape is also perfect for eating ochazuke (rice with tea).  Not only can these be used as rice bowls, but they can also be useful as small bowls for serving hotpot dishes and side dishes. They're stackable, so you'll want to have a few for your family and guests.
