The Comfort of Solid Wood
This large chestnut tray has a plump, rounded shape that creates a soft, inviting atmosphere. 
Chestnut wood has a subdued "gray-white" color, giving it a rustic, natural feel. 
The slightly raised rim creates a clean appearance. The underside of the rim is carved, making it easy to insert your fingers and lift.
Generous Size
This is a perfect serving for one person, with rice, miso soup, a main dish, and a small side dish. It's large enough to fit two 7-inch plates side by side with plenty of room to spare. 
When entertaining, this tray can serve 3–4 people. Ideal for any occasion, from everyday meals to special gatherings.

| Artist's Recommended Maintenance | ・If dirt is a concern, wipe with a tightly wrung-out cloth. When washing with water, avoid using detergent. ・If the piece becomes whitish and flaky, apply vegetable oil to a paper towel or cloth. (Walnut oil, safflower oil, perilla oil, etc. Olive oil will not dry.) If the flaky texture is still a concern, polish with sandpaper of approximately 320 grit and apply oil. ・The color will develop a beautiful appearance with care and use. |

Be careful with white cloths, etc. ・Solid wood may warp due to sudden temperature changes or dry conditions. Placing the piece with the backside facing up will allow the wood to breathe and prevent warping. ・Do not store near fire. Overheating may cause cracks, deformation, or a fire hazard. ・The oil finish is not completely water-resistant. ・Do not leave the piece submerged in water or with wet items inside. Leaving a wet item inside will cause stains within about 15 minutes. - Ultraviolet rays can cause discoloration, deterioration, and deformation, so please store it in a place away from direct sunlight. - Please note that the edges are prone to thinning and chipping. - Prices may be subject to review and revision depending on the artist or pottery manufacturer. |

Aizawa Wood Crafts/KITO
Founded in 1947 in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, as a woodcarver specializing in lacquerware base materials.
2013: Started manufacturing and selling original wooden products.
2019: Welcomed Masanori Oji as branding director.
