Maintenance recommendations from the pottery maker ・If you soak the pottery in hot water before use to thoroughly moisten it, it will be less likely to absorb tea stains, cooking liquids, and grease, making it less likely to stain.
・After use, wash thoroughly and dry thoroughly before storing. Leaving the pot soaked in dirty water or not drying it properly may cause stains, discoloration, mold, or unpleasant odors.
・The bottom has been treated, but if you turn it over and find that it is rough, lightly rub it with fine sandpaper to smooth it out.
Product Characteristics/
Handling Precautions

- Because each piece is handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, and thickness.
- Pinholes may be present, and patterns and colors may vary.
- Recommended for those who appreciate the warm texture of handmade items, each with its own unique character.
- Prices may be reviewed or revised depending on the artist or kiln.

Things to Know Before Purchasing

The unique character of each piece of pottery is created by features not found in mass-produced items, such as spots, fading, uneven glaze, shading, and shape variations. Handmade pottery is not perfectly uniform, with pinholes, crazing, or distortion. Each piece is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two pieces are exactly alike. This is the charm of handmade pottery. These are also the unique characteristics of handmade pottery, so enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter. [Individual Differences] Since each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in shape, size, and color. [Color Variations/Baking Variations] Since the glaze is applied by hand, the application may not be uniform. During firing, temperatures vary depending on the location in the kiln, resulting in uneven firing.
