Designed for Ease of Use

This mortar and pestle is incredibly easy to use. The deep, steep shape prevents ingredients from spilling out and allows them to naturally gather in the center. The inner grooves are individually hand-applied using a special tool. The spout is convenient for pouring grated yam or sesame sauce. The wide base and non-slip silicone rubber lining make it easy to mash food steadily.

*The pestle is sold separately.

Enjoy it in a variety of ways

Just add green beans and seasonings to the bowl containing ground sesame seeds, mix, and serve. The modern design makes it suitable not only as a cooking utensil, but also as a serving dish. Use it to mash steamed potatoes, crush nuts for salad toppings, or make salads. Its large size makes it perfect for making grated yam with plenty of dashi stock. Depending on your imagination, it can be used in a variety of situations.
