Keeps rice delicious

This ceramic rice container is designed for reheating in the microwave. Simply place cooked rice in the container and store it in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to eat, just pop it into the microwave—it’s quick and easy.  Thanks to the far-infrared properties of ceramic, the rice reheats evenly and becomes fluffy, tasting just like freshly cooked rice. The flat lid also makes the containers easy to stack.

A Convenient Everyday Item

The container holds approximately one cup of cooked rice, making it ideal for storing leftover rice from the night before.  While it works perfectly as a rice storage container, it can also be used as a rice bowl or serving bowl at the table. Its simple, understated shape blends naturally into your dining setting, making it a practical item for everyday use.

Things to Know Before Purchasing

The unique character of each piece of pottery is created by mottling, fading, uneven glaze, shading, and shape variations not found in mass-produced items. Handmade pottery is not perfectly uniform, with pinholes, crazing, or distortions. Each piece is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two pieces are exactly alike. This is the charm of handmade pottery. These are also the unique characteristics of handmade pottery, so enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter. [Individual Differences] Since each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in shape, size, thickness, etc. [Color Variations/Baking Variations] Since the glaze is carefully applied by hand, the glaze application may not be uniform. When firing, temperatures vary depending on where in the kiln they are fired, resulting in uneven firing. [Other Notes]

  • 〇Some lids may have noticeable pinholes on the front.
〇Some lids may have glaze marks from the firing process on the back.
