The slightly larger lid looks kind of like a hat and is very warm. The plump round shape and slightly protruding spout give it a cute look.

Shigaraki ware
This ceramic is produced around Shigaraki-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. The rustic texture of the earth is appealing, making full use of the richness of nature. Because they use strong china clay, they are good at making large pottery like raccoon dog ornaments.
Kiln owner's recommendation for maintenance
-After use, wash the pot as soon as possible, dry it thoroughly, and store it in a dry place. Insufficient drying may cause mold and odor.
