Color your dining table with vivid colors

A pot with a beautiful blue gradation. The eye-catching turquoise blue is a refreshing color that resembles the ocean. If you look closely, you can see that the surface is sparkling due to the crystallization of the glaze. It has a smooth and comfortable texture that fits in your hand. The slightly larger lid looks kind of like a hat and is very warm. The plump round shape and slightly protruding spout give it a cute look.

Tea time buddy

The capacity is enough to enjoy two cups of tea in a teacup. When you use it as a mug, it's about one cup, and it's the perfect size for when you want to relax by yourself. Another nice feature is that it has a tea strainer inside, so the tea leaves don't come out easily. It will enhance your daily tea time, especially when paired with your favorite snack.

Things you should know before purchasing

What creates the expression of a pottery are spots, scratches, unevenness in the glaze, shading, and bending of the shape that cannot be seen in mass-produced products.
The charm of handmade pottery is that it may have pinholes, intrusions, distortions, etc., and is not perfectly arranged, but each one is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two are exactly the same. Please enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter as these are the unique characteristics of handmade pottery. [Individual differences] Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, and thickness. [Uneven color/uneven baking] Because the glaze is applied by hand, it may not be applied evenly, resulting in uneven coloring. During firing, the temperature varies depending on the location of the kiln, resulting in uneven firing. [Other notes]
Products are inspected by both the pottery maker and our staff before being delivered to customers.

Shigaraki ware

This ceramic is produced around Shigaraki-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. The rustic texture of the earth is appealing, making full use of the richness of nature. Because they use strong china clay, they are good at making large pottery like raccoon dog ornaments.
