A bowl you'll want to use every day

This lacquered soup bowl has a calming atmosphere. "Chitose" represents a thousand years, a long time. This bowl was created with the hope that it will be used for a long time. A thin layer of raw lacquer is applied to the wood base, and the finishing technique, known as suri-urushi, brings out the beauty of the wood grain. Its gentle shape makes it easy to hold and use, fitting comfortably in the hand.

A Soothing Moment

This is a soup bowl for serving your nightly miso soup. Red miso soup with tofu and nameko mushrooms, or white miso soup with pumpkin. Enjoying freshly made miso soup makes you feel happy, doesn't it?  It's also perfect as a serving bowl for hot pots. The body doesn't heat up easily, so it's safe for use by small children and the elderly.

・Use water or lukewarm water and wash gently with a soft cloth or sponge, taking care not to scrub too hard.
