A bowl you want to use every day

A lacquered soup bowl with a calm atmosphere. "Chitose" means a thousand years, a long time.  This bowl was made in the hope that it will be used for a thousand years(Chitose). Finished using a technique called suri-urushi, which involves applying a thin coat of raw lacquer to the wood to bring out the beauty of the wood grain. Easy to hold and use, it has a gentle form that fits easily in your hand.

Calming time

A soup bowl for miso soup every night. Red miso soup with tofu and nameko, and white miso soup with pumpkin. Eating freshly made miso soup makes you feel happy. It's also perfect for serving as a pot when making pots. The main unit does not easily get hot, so even small children and the elderly can use it with confidence.

Recommended maintenance by the pottery ・The “Chitose Bowl” is finished with urethane to make it easier to use. Although the product is thoroughly dried before shipping, there may be cases where the smell of the paint is noticeable. If this happens, take it out of the box and leave it in a well-ventilated place out of the sun for a few days, and the problem will go away.
・When using for the first time, please add warm water and let it get used to for about 2 to 3 minutes before use.
・Use water or lukewarm water and gently wash with a soft cloth or sponge, making sure not to scrub too much.
・Do not wash with metal scrubbers, abrasive sponges, cleansers, etc.
