A small accent on the dining table

This bellflower-shaped plate has a cute hand-painted flower pattern. A design featuring Gosu flowers and gold accents. The fine incisions all over the bowl and the seeping glaze add depth to the taste.  The material is semi-porcelain, which combines the best features of earthenware with the warmth of earth and durable and dignified porcelain. When there are many plain tablewares on the dining table, the flower pattern will make a fun accent.

Put some small things on it

The perfect size when you want to add a little something like sesame dressing or pickles. It has a good depth, so it can be used for slightly juicy dishes such as mozuku vinegar. If you fill it with nuts and olives, it would also be useful as an accompaniment to alcohol. You can also stack them, so you'll want to have enough for your family and guests.

What creates the expression of a pottery are spots, scratches, unevenness in the glaze, shading, and bending of the shape that cannot be seen in mass-produced products. The charm of handmade pottery is that it may have pinholes, intrusions, distortions, etc., and is not perfectly arranged, but each one is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two are exactly the same. Please enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter as these are the unique characteristics of handmade pottery. 【Individual difference】 Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, and thickness. In addition, the thickness of the pattern and the shade of color are each different. [Uneven color/uneven baking] The glaze is carefully applied one by one by hand, so the glaze may not be applied evenly. During firing, the temperature varies depending on the location of the kiln, resulting in uneven firing. [Other notes] 〇Products that have passed inspection by the pottery and artist are inspected again and delivered to the customer.

Arita ware

Arita ware is porcelain manufactured in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. It is said to be the first porcelain made in Japan, and has been widely used as tableware and crafts for over 400 years. Arita ware has a strong image of transparent white porcelain and decoration, but there are also many items that use brightly colored glazes, giving a rich variety of colors to your dining table.
