Calm appearance

A 6-inch pot with a carved pattern as an accent. A pale gray color that goes well with any color. The slightly pinkish area is called ``gohonde,'' and has a deep flavor that is unique to ceramics. The rim, which flares out slightly, accentuates your food like a picture frame. It has a rustic texture and will blend easily into your daily life.

Size that is useful at the dining table

For dinner today, how about some udon noodles with bonito soup or curry nanban? The atmosphere also goes well with rice dishes such as oyakodon with melted eggs and katsudon. It is also perfect as a bowl for serving main side dishes such as yellowtail radish and meat and potatoes. It has a good depth, so it's useful when you want to put a lot of soup or bulky ingredients on it.

About the style and atmosphere

Mino ware gently fits into your daily life and decorates various scenes at the dining table. Although it is a work that gives you a sense of tradition, it is an easy-to-use pottery that suits modern life. Differences in color, uneven color, and sagging that occur by chance during firing and hand-molding create a unique handmade texture. Enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter, as no two items are the same. Some have many crack-like penetrations. ■Others, list page. Please find your favorite. Mino ware list page

What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications. Please note that we are not able to specify which side has the engraving on it. Please click here for more details. Characteristics of Utsuwa and what you need to understand when purchasing
