About the style and atmosphere

A dyed series of cloisonné and chrysanthemum patterns with traditional Japanese patterns as motifs. It would also look great when coordinated with UTSUWABI's custom-made soba choco, small bowls, and plates. Differences in color, uneven color, and sagging that occur by chance during firing and hand-molding create a unique handmade texture. Enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter, as no two items are the same. ■You can also view the dyed items here. Sometsuke list page

Arita ware

Arita ware is porcelain manufactured in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. It is said to be the first porcelain made in Japan, and has been widely used as tableware and crafts for over 400 years. Arita ware has a strong image of transparent white porcelain and decoration, but there are also many items that use brightly colored glazes, giving a rich variety of colors to your dining table.
