Utensils with a sense of simplicity and delicacy

This hand salt plate has an impressive graceful curve and soft, embossed pattern. The quince is said to bring prosperity and good luck to descendants, and is one of the auspicious emblems often used in family crests. The traditional form is modernized and blends into everyday dining, whether Japanese or Western. The mustard-like color brings out the delicate pattern and gently adds color to the dining table. The edges are textured all the way, and the elaborate delicacy will make your heart flutter.

As an accent for the dining table

The perfect size when you want to add a little seasoning, soy sauce, or salt. Top with small sweets such as chocolate or sugar cubes and enjoy a relaxing coffee time. Dining tables tend to be circular, so polygonal utensils create rhythm at the table. It's also great to use as a tray to store small accessories that tend to get lost, such as rings and earrings.

About the style and atmosphere

A special dish packed with cuteness despite its small appearance. Porcelain is durable and easy to handle, and its light weight and thickness make it easy to use on a daily basis. I also like that it can be used in the microwave and dishwasher. There are individual differences in the shade and appearance of the color. It is a pottery that naturally fits modern lifestyles while retaining its traditional charm. ■Others, list page. Please find your favorite. Arita ware list page

Arita ware

Arita ware is porcelain manufactured in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. It is said to be the first porcelain made in Japan, and has been widely used as tableware and crafts for over 400 years. Arita ware has a strong image of transparent white porcelain and decoration, but there are also many vessels that use brightly colored glazes, giving a rich variety of colors to your dining table.

What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications. Please note that we are not able to specify which side has the engraving on it. Please click here for more details. Characteristics of Utsuwa and what you need to understand when purchasing
