Warm texture
Each plate is carefully engraved with a shinogi pattern.
When you touch it, it has a rough texture and you can feel the warmth of the earth. The deep color, like a mixture of
rust, creates a chic atmosphere. It is also attractive that you can see the iron powder piece by piece, and each piece
has a different expression. It has a moderate weight and a sense of stability, so it can be used as a standard
pottery.

About the style and atmosphere
It has a simple appearance that you will never get tired of, making it easy to pair with any kind of food. Kohiki
plate appears on the surface as black spots when the iron contained in the clay is fired in the kiln.

Shigaraki ware
This ceramic is produced around Shigaraki-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. The rustic texture of the earth is appealing, making full use of the richness of nature. Because they use strong china clay, they are good at making large pottery like raccoon dog ornaments.
