This 4-inch makai is perfect for serving as a rice bowl or for storing soup. Dynamic Okinawan patterns brightly decorate your dining table. Although Yachimun has a strong image of being heavy, Toshin Kiln is characterized by not being too heavy or thick. Okinawa on your dining table

"Makai" means bowl in the Okinawan language. Serve with freshly cooked rice, top with fragrant cod roe, and a little soy sauce. Steam rises from the cologne and the round bowl, and it smells so good! Your appetite will also increase. It also goes well as a dessert cup with ice cream or shiratama dango. It's also nice to have a snack time with cold zenzai to fully enjoy the Okinawan atmosphere. Yachimun is Okinawan pottery that gives you a sense of warmth and a laid-back climate. Tsuboya ware Toshin kiln

After Masakazu Soma trained at Ikutoen in Tsuboya, he built a kiln in Nakama, Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture in 1975. In 1978, the kiln was moved to Zakimi, Yomitan Village. Until now. While preserving the traditional techniques of Tsuboya ware, we continue to create new pieces with the motto of ``always creating something new,'' such as unique red paintings, dyeing, fish patterns, and itchin.
