Dynamic designs typical of Okinawa

This 5-inch bowl makes cooking fun just by thinking about what to serve. The bold design will brightly decorate your dining table. The two-colored arabesque pattern stands out against the slightly creamy white background, and just looking at it will make you feel energetic. The two lines drawn in the relaxed arabesque tighten the expression of the pottery. The height of the base and the rise of the edges are exquisite, and it fits naturally in your hand. This may be the result of a history of creating everyday pottery that is close to the people who use it.

A reliable ally for any dish

This medium-sized bowl has a suitable depth and is a convenient size that fits comfortably in your hand. For side dishes such as potato salad and meat and potatoes. For breakfast, have granola or a green salad. It goes well with a variety of cuisines, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, and ethnic, so you'll want to always have it on your table. It's also wonderful to enjoy the Okinawan atmosphere with Rafute. Stacking storage is also OK! They come in a variety of different colors and shapes, so you can enjoy coordinating your table.

Tsuboya ware Toshin kiln

After Masakazu Soma trained at Ikutoen in Tsuboya, he built a kiln in Nakama, Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture in 1975. In 1978, the kiln was moved to Zakimi, Yomitan Village. Until now. While preserving the traditional techniques of Tsuboya ware, we continue to create new pieces with the motto of ``always creating something new,'' such as unique red paintings, dyeing, fish patterns, and itchin.

What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of items is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced items.
The charm of handmade items lies in the fact that no two items are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another.
The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade items lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same.
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications.
