Dynamic designs typical of Okinawa

This 3-inch bowl has a cute small size. With a motif of bougainvillea flowers, the vibrant design will brightly decorate your dining table. The contrast of blue and red stands out against the slightly creamy white background, and just looking at it seems to cheer you up. It is a very elaborate pottery, using techniques such as akae and comb pattern. Although Yachimun has a strong image of being heavy, Toshin Kiln is characterized by not being too heavy or thick. The height of the base and the rise of the edges are exquisite, and it fits naturally in your hand. This may be the result of a history of creating everyday pottery that is close to the people who use it.

One more side dish

The 3-inch small bowl is the perfect size when you want to add a little something extra. Serve with the usual side dishes such as green beans with sesame sauce and kinpira burdock. It's also great to enjoy the Okinawan atmosphere with carrot shirishiri(carrot rapé) and bitter melon ohitashi! It has a good depth, so you can safely use it for juicy side dishes such as vinegared dishes and sleet dressing.  It would also be cute to put fruit for one person and display it on the dining table. It is a useful item no matter how many you have.
