Healed by the flying swallows

A rice bowl decorated with a picture of a swallow flying happily through the sky. The bluish, transparent material looks like an endless sky. There are pure white clouds floating there. The glaze on the clouds is so three-dimensional that you can feel it with your hands, giving it a fluffy texture. The scenery is similar to the sky in early spring when swallows migrate.

Loveliness that you can embrace with both hands

How about making this your child's first china bowl? Surprisingly, many people may still remember the utensils they used when they were little. The cute swallow and the slightly raised texture of the painting will make it a memorable bowl. The platform has a good height, so you can hold the bowl securely even with hot rice. The texture of porcelain would go well with Asian sweets such as bean flowers and ogyochi. It looks like it could also be used as a dessert cup.

About the style and atmosphere

Although it has a Japanese-style appearance, the clean design gives it a somewhat modern impression. Porcelain is durable and easy to handle, and its light weight and thickness make it easy to use on a daily basis. I also like that it can be used in the microwave and dishwasher. It is a pottery that naturally fits modern lifestyles while retaining its traditional charm. ■You can also view the Kumo Tsubame series of vessels here. Cloud swallow list page ■Others, list page. Arita ware

Arita ware is porcelain manufactured in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. It is said to be the first porcelain made in Japan, and has been widely used as tableware and crafts for over 400 years. Arita ware has a strong image of transparent white porcelain and decoration, but there are also many vessels that use brightly colored glazes, giving a rich variety of colors to your dining table.

What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications. Please note that we are not able to specify which side has the engraving on it. Please click here for more details. Characteristics of Utsuwa and what you need to understand when purchasing
