Geometric pattern woven by herringbone

A sencha bowl with a clean silhouette that gives a modern impression. It has an uneven texture that feels like it's been embossed. It is unusual for Hasami ware, which is mostly made of porcelain, and because it is made of ceramic, it has the soft atmosphere of earthenware. It is very interesting that each piece has a different expression, such as the pattern and color.

Perfect for drinking scenes

The size is perfect for storing long and thin items such as vegetable sticks. You can use it as a slightly larger choko to drink sake, or add olives to accompany wine. You can enjoy it in a variety of ways, such as using it as a small bowl with side dishes or as a dessert cup. You can also stack them, so you can have several for your family or for guests.

About the style and atmosphere

The "ORIME" series is made from textile motifs. The pattern is made using a stamp, and the design looks like it's made of pasted fabrics, giving it an interesting handcrafted feel. One of its charms is the tasteful texture that takes advantage of the shading and fading of colors, overlapping and unevenness in order to express the texture of the cloth. Depending on the baking process, there may be a difference in the pattern. (The photo is of "Herringbone Soba Choko") We hope that you enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter, as no two items are the same. Notes

〇There are unique characteristics unique to Japanese tableware, such as color shading, gradation, and fading. ○Please avoid using in the dishwasher, microwave, open flame, or oven. ○As they are handmade, each item may vary slightly in color, shape, size, thickness, etc., and there are individual differences. There may be pinholes, etc., or the pattern or color may be different. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the warm texture that is unique to handmade products, each with a different look. ○Very small "sunspots", "paint spots", and "pinholes that do not reach the base" may be seen on the surface of the pottery. ○When placed on a table, etc., there may be some wobbling that is not a problem for use. ○Due to the characteristic that the glaze on the edges flows downward, it may be slightly thinner. ○In rare cases, penetration (cracks in the surface glaze) may occur during the use process, but this is not a crack or damage, so there is no problem with use. ○Prices may be reviewed or revised depending on the artist or pottery.
