It has a wide mouth and a sturdy and stable shape, which is great for foodies. You can also enjoy ochazuke topped with grilled salmon and rice with egg. It's also great to use as a small bowl for juicy side dishes, such as green vegetable ohitashi or fried vegetables. It can also be used as a dessert cup by filling it with rounded ice cream or shiratama zenzai.

About the style and atmosphere

Zogan is created by carving out a piece of soil and filling the dented areas with different colored soil to create a pattern. Pine needles have long been thought to bring good luck because even when they wither and fall, they still form a pair. It would also be a good gift for a celebratory event such as a wedding. Because it is handmade, there may be some color shading, scratches, etc. We hope you enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter, where no two items are the same. The back side may not be engraved as shown in the photo. Please note that it is not possible to specify. ■You can also view Mino ware pottery here. Please find your favorite. Mino ware list page

What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications. Please note that we are not able to specify which side has the engraving on it. Please click here for more details. Characteristics of Utsuwa and what you need to understand when purchasing
