Geometric pattern woven by herringbone

A soba choko with an impressive herringbone pattern. It has a modern look typical of Hasami ware, and can be used not only for soba choko but also as a small bowl with side dishes, regardless of the occasion. The herringbone pattern of this ORIME series is made of ceramic, which is unusual for Hasami ware, which is often made of porcelain, so you can feel the soft atmosphere of earthenware. The texture is like a mixture of dark brown and dark blue, and depending on how it's baked, you can enjoy the fun of grilling, with either a stronger dark brown or a stronger dark blue.

Various uses other than soba choko

Not only can you use it as a soba choko, but you can also use it to make coffee and take a break with a snack. It's a little shallow and has a wide diameter, so it's perfect for small bowls for side dishes. You can also add something juicy, such as minced pumpkin or Chinese salad. It's the perfect size for serving side dishes and adding one more item.

About the style and atmosphere

The "ORIME" series is made with textile motifs. The ``herringbone'' pattern is characterized by a rough weave. The pattern is made using a stamp, and the design looks like pasted fabrics together, giving it an interesting handcrafted feel. In order to express the texture of the cloth, one of its charms is the tasteful texture that takes advantage of the shading and fading of colors, overlapping and unevenness. Please enjoy this "once in a lifetime" encounter. ■You can also view the ORIME series vessels here. ORIME list page ■Others, list page. Hasami ware list page
