Chic colors give a mature atmosphere

The deep blue of the lapis lazuli glaze makes this a very beautiful plate reminiscent of the deep sea or the dawn sky. The surface is shiny and appears to be studded with fine golden specks. The three-tiered edge line has a green tinge and has a nice design. It's sure to catch the eye when entertaining!

Perfect as a main dish for one person

The easy-to-use 7-inch size is perfect as a main dish, appetizer plate, or hors d'oeuvre plate for one person. This salad of coriander and early red mixed with salted lemon, sesame oil, and fish sauce is the perfect match for lapis lazuli! Anchovy cabbage, white fish carpaccio, and roast beef all seem to bring out the colors of both the ingredients and the plate. It goes perfectly with Japanese ingredients such as teriyaki fillet fish, Saikyoyaki, tempura, and kakiage. It feels comfortable when you hold it, and has just the right amount of weight to give you a solid sense of stability. You can stack them, so you'll want to keep them for your family and guests.

Kiln's recommendation Maintenance - Because it is water absorbent and tends to leave stains, we recommend sealing it before use. Most water stains disappear when dry, but if used without sealing, oil stains and stains from dark colors such as soy sauce and coffee tend to remain.
・When serving oily foods, soak them in water before use to prevent stains.
・After using the utensils, wash them as soon as possible and dry them thoroughly. Insufficient drying may cause mold and odors.

Special ``powdered white products''
We work every day to create ``powdered white utensils'' that complement any dish, add elegance, and provide warmth. We are also particular about the soil we use, and use our own unique soil for potter's wheel and tatara molding. The fabric is molded from red clay, coated with white mud, glazed and fired. To make it comfortable to use and microwave safe, it is not coated with any chemicals or liquid ceramics after firing. Instead, by repeating the firing process called ``honyaki'' twice, the product is made more durable and of a quality that can be used safely in daily life. Thoughts on items "The most important time in daily life" It's a time when families gather together to eat dinner and relax while drinking tea or coffee. In order to make that time more fulfilling, we strive to create pottery that can gently be a part of people's lives. “Powdered White” is a white with a gentle expression. It's a simple white that complements any dish and can be used every day. In addition, the gentle, rustic earthiness that emerges from beneath the surface of the pottery gives it an extremely deep feel. We would be most happy if you could use and enjoy the warmth of our Japanese tableware in your daily life.

What you need to know before purchasing

-The appearance of items is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced items.
-The charm of handmade items lies in the fact that no two items are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another.
