Somewhat nostalgic appearance

This is a rice bowl with a pattern that has been popular in Japan since ancient times. It features a line pattern carefully drawn by hand. The thick blue lines and thin brown lines create a perfect balance. Each hand-drawn pattern varies in color and size. A is lighter blue and slightly larger. B is blue, almost black, and slightly smaller. It has a rustic texture that gives you a Japanese feel, and will blend seamlessly into your dining table.

Because it's something you use every day

A large piece of mentaiko is placed on top of fluffy, freshly cooked rice. The large size allows you to put lots of rice accompaniments, such as natto and grilled salmon. The deep shape seems to be useful when eating Ochazuke. It's great to pair with a different color of orange, or give as a couple's bowl as a gift. They can also be stacked, making them easy to store neatly, making them perfect for those who want to have enough for their entire family.

Things you should know before purchasing

What creates the expression of a pottery are spots, scratches, unevenness in the glaze, shading, and bending of the shape that cannot be seen in mass-produced products. The charm of handmade pottery is that it may have pinholes, intrusions, distortions, etc., and is not perfectly arranged, but each one is slightly different in color, size, and shape, and no two are exactly the same. Please enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter as these are the unique characteristics of handmade pottery. 【Individual difference】 Because each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, and thickness. [Uneven color/uneven baking] Because the glaze is applied by hand, it may not be applied evenly, resulting in uneven coloring. During firing, the temperature varies depending on the location of the kiln, resulting in uneven firing. [Other notes] 〇Products that have passed inspection by the pottery and artist are inspected again and delivered to the customer. ■For more information, please see here.
