A bowl with a large twisted plum pattern painted all over it. The carefully carved plum patterns are individually carved by craftsmen using a technique called ``kakiotoshi.'' Pottery originated in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, with a history of about 400 years. It is easy to remove stains, can be used in the dishwasher and microwave, and is perfect for everyday use.
