Ishikawa Shikhodo
Founded in 1947 in Yamanaka Onsen, located at the southernmost tip of Ishikawa Prefecture. In an environment surrounded by clear streams, clear air, and divine mountains, the reliable painting and potter's wheel techniques have been passed down over 450 years. Each piece is carefully made by craftsmen using high-quality wood and lacquer.
Kiln owner's recommendation for maintenance
・Soak the pot in water for a while before use to prevent stains and dirt from penetrating the pot.
