Recommended maintenance by the pottery	・For overpainted products, avoid using the dishwasher and wash them by hand with a soft cloth or sponge. Doing so may cause red, gold, or silver paint to peel off or darken. ・After using the utensils, wash them as soon as possible and dry them thoroughly. Insufficient drying may cause mold and odors.
Product characteristics/ Handling precautions	・As it is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, size, thickness, etc. ・Since the painting and glazing work is done by hand, there may be slight differences in the pattern, color shading, glaze color, and application method. ・Since the soil contains a lot of iron, there may be small light brown or black dots on the surface of the pot, but this does not cause any problem in use. ・Recommended for those who want to enjoy the warm texture that is unique to handmade products, each with a different look. ・Since it does not absorb water, it is difficult to get stains, mold, etc., and is easy to handle. ・Depending on the age of use, small scratches from forks and knives may become noticeable (especially since olive glaze is soft). ・Prices may be reviewed or revised depending on the artist or pottery.

Hoyang Kiln

1947 Started a kiln in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture Mainly produces sake vessels, and later produces general tableware. 2003: Changed the name of the kiln to Koyo Kiln. Currently 3rd generation (Yosuke Maeda) We manufacture a wide range of household tableware with simple and soft forms, from indigo-dyed to red-painted and glazed pottery. We value traditional Arita techniques and aim to create pottery that fits modern lifestyles and that both the maker and the user can relate to. ``I want the younger generation to use Arita ware as well.''
