Traditional arts in modern life

A small bowl with a boat motif that will add flair to your dining table. The elegant indigo leaf pattern is carefully drawn one by one using a traditional technique called ``sometsuke''. Although it is delicate, it is full of gentle loveliness. One of the charms of Arita ware is its transparent, slightly bluish white color and smooth texture. The soft atmosphere will enhance your usual dishes.

Always by your side

It's the perfect size to serve side dishes for one person, such as bamboo shoots boiled in Tosa and potato salad. Dining tables tend to be circular, so vessels with a distinctive shape create a rhythm. It has a good depth, so it's great for mozuku vinegar or leftover boiled food. A small bowl that is easy to use as a side dish is a useful item no matter how many you have. They can also be stacked, so it's a good idea to have multiple copies for your family or guests.

What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications.
