Geometric pattern woven by herringbone

A bowl with an impressive herringbone pattern. It has a modern impression typical of Hasami ware, and is finished in a slightly larger and deeper shape. The herringbone pattern of this ORIME series is made of ceramic, which is unusual for Hasami ware, which is often made of porcelain, so you can feel the soft atmosphere of earthenware.

For serving for one person

The straight torso remains beautiful even when stacked. It's the perfect size for serving soups with lots of ingredients such as pot-au-feu, granola for breakfast, vegetable salads, etc. for one person. It's also fun to use it like a mini weight for sushi, eel, etc. The white color is characterized by an uneven texture that looks like it has been embossed.

About the style and atmosphere

The "ORIME" series is made with textile motifs. The ``herringbone'' pattern is characterized by a rough weave. The pattern is made using a stamp, and the design looks like it's made of pasted fabrics, giving it an interesting handcrafted feel. In order to express the texture of the cloth, one of its charms is the tasteful texture that takes advantage of the shading and fading of colors, overlapping and unevenness. Depending on the baking process, there may be a difference in the pattern. (The photo is of "Herringbone Soba Choko") We hope you enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter, where no two items are the same. ■Others, list page. What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications. Please note that we are not able to specify which side has the engraving on it. Please click here for more details. Characteristics of Utsuwa and what you need to understand when purchasing
