Gentle expression

A bowl with a tab that has an impressive herringbone pattern. Its charm point is the two small ears on its neat trapezoidal form. The carefully carved fine lines resemble the bones of a fish. The unevenness of the surface creates shading in the glaze, giving it a unique handcrafted feel. The gentle blue color, which resembles a watercolor painting, will add an elegant touch to your everyday dishes.

Enjoy in generous portions

For breakfast, we will have pumpkin potage and minestrone with lots of ingredients! If you start your day by drinking soup in your favorite bowl, you'll feel more motivated to do your work or housework. Perfect for dinner with large pot-au-feu or beef stew. The risotto, porridge, and noodles at the end are large enough to fill you up.

About the style and atmosphere

Domoto's utensils are made using old-fashioned traditional glazes and cherishing the presence of clay that is unique to Shigaraki. It has a simple design that you will never get tired of and a casual atmosphere that blends naturally into your dining table. Because it's something you use every day, we pay particular attention to its lightness and ease of use. This includes some of the cracks that are unique to powdered powder, as shown in the photo. Differences in color, uneven color, and sagging that occur by chance during firing and hand-molding are the unique charms of handmade products. Please enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime encounter, as no two items are the same. ■You can also view Masaki Domoto's utensils here. Masaki Domoto list page ■Others, list page. Please find your favorite. What you need to know before purchasing

The appearance of vessels is created by spots, blurs, unevenness of glaze, shading, and deflection of shape, which cannot be found in mass-produced vessels. The charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that no two vessels are exactly alike, with pinholes, penetrations, distortions, and the like, and that the colors, size, and shape of each piece vary slightly from one to another. The coloring, size, and shape of each piece is slightly different, and the charm of handmade vessels lies in the fact that they are not exactly the same. Individual differences
The finish is relatively uniform, but because it is handmade, there are individual differences in shape, size, color, and so on. Uneven color/uneven firing
Because the glaze is applied by hand, the glaze may not be applied evenly. The firing process is also uneven because the temperature varies depending on the firing location in the kiln. Other Notes
Some pieces have engraving on the reverse side of the piece, while others do not. Please note that we are unable to make any specifications. Please note that we are not able to specify which side has the engraving on it. Please click here for more details. Characteristics of Utsuwa and what you need to understand when purchasing
